Regular Season Round 11: Sigulda - Taurage 65-75

There was a minor upset when higher ranked LatvianSigulda (5-3) was defeated by 59th ranked Lithuanian Taurage (5-3) 75-65 on Sunday. Taurage trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 21-8 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for Latvian guard Julius Brackus (192-2009) who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points and 6 rebounds. Elijus Zilevicius helped adding 20 points and 6 rebounds. Gustavs Petersons responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Gustavs Stuklis scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Taurage . They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Sigulda .
